Bookmaker's Line

What do you think of when you think of Las Vegas, Nevada? Riches and fame? Sex and drugs? Shows? I only really think of those things in relation to Vegas if I'm headed out there. In hindsight, thinking of Las Vegas, for me, is more about the movies. The Hangover isn't necessarily what I'm talking about here.

I'm talking about the classics that aren't necessarily about living the dream life in Vegas. Moreso, the one's that depict the story behind the gamble; against all odds type. The gamble of a heist in the Ocean's movies, beating out Teddy in Rounders, or having the kahunas to let Christopher Walken or Chazz Palminteri front you $80K in a game of 9-ball in Poolhall Junkies. Technically speaking, there was a matchbox under one of the legs in the 9-ball match (Didn't hear it from me).

With that being said, Casimi brings us Bookmaker's Line. Providing a cinematic experience from the furnishings of your own home!

I generally just sit at a machine and let er' buck. Meaning I just settle in with a starting wager and see what happens. No prior research into pay tables, progressives, or anything. I just want that feel and excitement; maybe a bonus round or two. Not the case with this slot. Line odds and multipliers were pretty confusing without referencing the pay table.

So, in this game you have a special line with a permanent wild in the middle; think bingo. It says this line is random with every spin, however, the same line stays numerous times in a row. Anyway, this line picks a certain symbol with every spin. If your line win starts with that symbol, you "play the odds" and use that as your multiplier. If you get any other win, within that special line, you play the secondary line feature multiplier, which is displayed next to the odds multiplier.

Once you get into the game it becomes clear what's going on. However, I still think this type of game might deter those that seek familiarity; as this one is completely different from most. I personally like it. Bookmaker's Line is unique, pays well, and even gives you the option to flip the controls for those left-handed folk. Gameplay is fluid, graphics are clean, and just overall is entertaining enough to be on anyone's list.
