Tailgating

I don't believe I'll be giving this one a blue ribbon (pun intended) anytime soon. Simply based upon first impressions, I had a feeling Tailgating wouldn't produce a first down; yet alone a touchdown. It's almost as if someone sat down Booming Games and asked them if they felt like making an irritatingly-subpar slot machine. I haven't felt this way since a series of 3-and-outs mixed with offsides calls.

When I start playing a slot, I just play. If I like the vibe, I play and check the pay tables and so forth. If I don't like the vibe, I'm out. Pretty straightforward process. But, one thing leads to another, and all these little things (think penalties) add up and ruin the experience.

Auto-play is incredibly slow. For some reason it wants to show you your line bets. Physically on the screen like a spider web. Not every time, just occasionally; like you had just changed your line bet.

If by chance you win, might as well call a delay of game on animation.

I'm 100% sure the sounds coming off this machine are from rugby games, not American football as the game suggests. Special shout out to Jock Jams.

Free spin bonus is triggered by 3 scattered symbols. 10 games rewarded. Re-trigger available. Essentially just seemed like free games with nothing special added.

However, I will give extra points out to the special bonus though. 3 scattered special symbols trigger free 2-way spins. Meaning the bonus pays left-to-right, and right-to-left. Again, 10 spins, re-trigger available. Aside from the 2-way pay, nothing else was exciting in the bonus rounds; a true fumble, really.

It's hard to believe this game made it out of the pre-season to be honest. It just feels like the person who made it knew everything about how a slot machine works, but nothing about the content going into it.
