In a world that is lost to streaming services and endless apps providing non-stop entertainment; you sometimes get caught off guard when reality checks in. I'm not talking some sort of life changing moment, just something that's remembered otherwise forgotten.
In this case, we are talking about Terry Bradshaw, TikTok, and the slot 1st Down. I'm not sure Inspired Gaming shares the same ideologies; but to each their own. Bradshaw may as well of fell of the face of the earth for me. Hadn't heard anything about him in years. As a well-respected 4-time Superbowl Champ, Pro Bowler, Hall of Famer, broadcaster, etc.; it's no question the American public adores the "Blonde Bomber." He came across a TikTok sharing his success battling bladder cancer; and skin cancer as well.
Anyway, in regards to 1st Down and Bradshaw; what makes sense here? The fact that dumb luck can produce oddities that actually work. 1st Down sure looks like a byproduct of the introduction of neon lighting in the 1920's. Neon's only exception is the Seattle Seahawks'; let's not risk this again. When that TikTok of Bradshaw first appeared, I was certain it was a preview to the remake of Of Mice and Men. Come on, you would be a fool to think Bradshaw wouldn't at least be an understudy for John Malkovich's role as Lennie Small.
Small talk aside, this game is exceptional. I wouldn't quite rank it at the top, but a simple update with appropriate licensure from the NFL would seal the deal for me. The filler type wins are greeted with brief audio and animation that distracts away from the playthrough amount I needed for the bonus. If you catch the bonus early, your off to the races.
The bonus consists of catching 5 coins scattered and leads you to a video of a football game. The game consists of the team you pick when you start the slot, the opposing team, and two drives down the field; one seeking a touchdown, the other a field goal. If a touchdown or field goal are made, the sum of all coins in the slot are added for your multiplier. In this instance the coins amounted to 14X, accompanied by the standard 6X (100) payout, left me incredibly happy.
Wild symbols run rampant and small wins seem to share the spotlight with medium and large wins. Autoplay caters to all involved with many options. Playability is top notch and the only really downside is the load time at start up. Music is just your basic busy music; win audio isn't over the top.
At the end of the day, this slot is a staple in my rotation. It's just fun, simple, and functions ideally for what I want in a game.
