Baseball Slots

Baseball Slots by Urgent Games brings me back to the turn of the 21st century. Most memorable was the fear, uncertainty, and doubt of what lurked in the shadows with Y2K (The year 2000). Computers weren't expected to handle the change from year 1999 to 2000. Fears of world-wide panic and computer failure saturated nations. I'm not into traditional stocks, and have no idea what state the market was back then; however, could you imagine the volatility of the crypto market?

What does this have to do with Baseball Slots? Not much really, just gave me that Y2K feel and immediately brought back memories of Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa going toe to toe for the homerun title and single season record during that era. The time was unreal for any baseball fan; regardless of the apparent use of steroids. The fun factor and ratings were through the roof and nobody cared. Next thing you know Barry Bonds comes along and puts that show to an end. All 3 all-star athletes left with nothing but an asterisk on their name.

But some 20 years after the steroid era, and 61 years after the original single season home run record was set by Roger Maris in 1961, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees hits his 62nd home run of the 2021-2022 season on October 5th, 2022 to secure his place in history.

Anyway, my experience with Baseball Slots was going just about as bad as it could get; until I figured out the secret. You see, auto-spin is the worst I've come across. It does go fast, but stops on every single win. There is no setting it for anything; it just stops. Out of frustration, I rapidly clicked the spin button, and you know what? You can spin as fast as you can click! I don't know if that's a message from heaven or hell; but man is it fun!

All fun aside, this game is terrible. Fast reels and minimal animation make for a quick payday; or quick eviction. Symbols are generic and give off a subpar anime feel. Audio is as irrelevant as the unfinished pay table section of the options menu. It says 3 scattered bonus symbols trigger a bonus round. I beg the differ after a thousand spins, and no success triggering a bonus. So, if you lack patience; have at it. If you want a solid machine behind your wagers; look elsewhere.
